CPST Training - Edmonton, Alberta - May 13-15th - COMPLETED
Do you have a passion for children and safety? Do you regularly transport children and want to ensure everyone is safe?
This program will certify you as a Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC). You will learn about the mechanics of a collision, the legislation governing child restraints and the different stages of child restraint systems and how they work. The course will include hands-on practice so that you will feel comfortable with different methods of installation and guidance on how to help parents and caregivers select and use car seats and booster seats correctly.
Successful candidates will receive a certificate good for three years, membership in the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada, liability insurance when working as a volunteer, access to regional and nation-wide networking and support of other CPSTs, and ongoing support and updates as technology and standards change.
Information for current COVID-19 protocols in reference to participation in a course and certifying clinic will be emailed to you prior to the course.

Course fee - $180
Course date and times are as follows:
May 13th – 5:00pm - 9:00pm
May 14th – 8:30am - 5:00pm
May 15th - 8:30am - 4:30pm (Clinic from 1-4pm )
Attendance is required for all 3 days.
